The Dreams that
Shape us
podcast
Podcast Mission:
We aim to obliterate the Western myth that dreams mean nothing by offering you story after human story of just how powerful and meaningful dreams can truly be in shaping our inner and outer lives!
It was all a dream…
A long time ago in a place far away (on Facebook) Jason ran across Steve standing up against accusations that Carl Jung was a Nazi sympathizer. Jason came to his aid and the rest is history! 6ish years deep into their friendship, these two forge an even deeper alliance and create a CAT-1 dreaming podcast the likes of which the world has never heard,
THE DREAMS THAT SHAPE US PODCAST
What can you expect?!
ODES
Our episodes are true odes to our guest’s very lived human lives and the dreams that have companioned and championed them through it.
We treat every story with the utmost care and respect. It is our deepest honor to humbly and artistically showcase these beautiful life-shaping dreams and stories!
STORYTELLING & EDUCATIONAL
Storytelling, yet very educational. You get the deep, human, vulnerable story piece, as well as, all the dreamworking wisdom on how the person worked the dream(s).
Occasionally we add commentary during parts of the interview to slow things down and comment deeper on what is being talked about.
LOTS OF PRODUCTION VALUE
Steve composes custom music throughout the episodes, highlighting poignant parts of the guest’s story (very cinematic).
We also use sound effects during the storytelling of some dreams to create a more immersive storytelling experience.

The Very Thought of You - S2, Ep7
Maureen Boyd Biro shares with us a deeply heart-felt story that chronicles how dreams beautifully aided her as she companioned her mother throughout her journey with Alzheimer’s.
The dreams were very redemptive in how they helped reframe her mother’s illness for her and were able to give her a glimpse into what her mother’s experience was like for her!
It’s a truly beautiful story of love and loss and music. We hope you enjoy it!!
